I am a sucker for a statement sleeve on a top, as well as a great deal! This outfit is the perfect example of high and affordable prices. I put this outfit together with a fabulous friend of mine Drewe Smith- if you don’t know her, you should and if you don’t follow her on Insta you should also do that here. She gave me the little push I needed to mix these shoes with this top. It is a little out of my comfort zone, because remember this girl loves an all black outfit.

We were putting together outfits from my closet and I pulled out this top that I had just gotten for an astounding $7, from The Who What Wear collection at Target. I saw it on the clearance rack and thought to myself thank goodness I live in a city where most people don’t understand what an AMAZING find this is.

Back to pulling outfits out of my closet, because yes adult women love a good dress up sesh as much as little girls! I asked Drewe, “what if I put this top with-” she stopped me, “- the polka dot shoes?”. Now don’t get me wrong, I won’t pretend to be ground breaking by my choice of polka dots and stripes together, but for me its a leap.

This is why you need a Drewe in your life, who will support your personal daring outfit decisions.

Fast forward to this bomb outfit that made me all sorts of confident. Never underestimate the power of a great french tuck and a pair of skinnies. These jeans are another great staple in my closet, I am a sucker for Frame Denim. They are so soft and stretch, but not too much. Case in point step outside your comfort zone sometimes, because its great to feel confident in something new and different!
