There are a few things you will learn about me as we go through this journey together.

I love jeans, actually love is an understatement.

Whatever the word is that gives your little heart that feeling that is more than love, thats how I feel about denim. I am not partial to one type either; skinny, boyfriend, distressed or embellished. Give. Me. All. The. Jeans. This pair right here though, they are my favs. I bought them while I was working in New York City, right before working my first Met Gala in 2016. They are my tried and true, I think I may have worn them ALMOST everyday during production this past year as well. The jeans are Mother Denim and they are life.

 

My favorite color to wear is black, I am convinced it is the New Yorker in me. I could honestly wear black all day everyday, but as of late I have been trying to expand my horizons and venture into the world of color. Its been a slow process and you will be hard pressed to find me an outfit without some element of black in it.

Lastly I like to  have things in my closet that are investment pieces, I am not a girl who can afford to go to a designer store and dress myself from head to toe (put it on the vision board haha) but I do see the value in saving money for things that will last and are timeless. A lot of my outfits will bounce around all different price points. I appreciate a classic look and thats why I put this outfit together. Speaking of classic how awesome is my Moms vintage London Fog trench that I am rocking here?

Basically this is my perfect everyday kick it around the city outfit. A great linen button down, your fav jeans, a couple statement pieces- I opted for the purse and shoes (for Gucci always size down in your shoes) and killer pair of sunnies.
